Explorer Pass
from HK$899
- 3–7 attractions, chosen freely from a longer list
- For anyone with more places in mind or who decides on the go
For your first days in Hong Kong
A cable car to Lantau or a city bus tour, plus two sights between Victoria Peak and the harbour.
Adults HK$749 · Children (3–11) HK$499
Up to HK$326 less than separate tickets

The Hong Kong Essentials Pass includes three entries. One of them is either the Ngong Ping 360 cable car with Ngong Ping Village on Lantau or the Big Bus Discover ticket. You choose the other two from the second group: the Peak Tram with Sky Terrace 428, a sampan ride in Aberdeen, an evening cruise on Victoria Harbour, the Big Bus night tour, Madame Tussauds, Monopoly Dreams or a dim sum set menu at Serenade.
Every sight in the Essentials Pass is also in the Explorer Pass. The Essentials Pass is the cheaper version for exactly three entries, but without Ocean Park and without the guided tours and classes that only the bigger passes have.
The pass is valid for 30 days from your first visit. You can return it to Go City free of charge for up to 90 days after purchase, as long as it is unused.
For the dim sum menu at Serenade and for Madame Tussauds you reserve a time in advance in the Go City App. You can visit all the other sights without a booking.

Adult prices without a pass, as listed by Go City. Checked: 09.10.2026.
Tick what you want to visit. The calculator shows what the same entries would cost if bought separately.
You book with Go City and receive a confirmation by email.
Download the Go City App, enter your confirmation code, and the pass is on your phone. Setting it up does not activate it yet.
You need a set time for: Dim Sum Set Menu, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. You book it in the app at no extra cost.
Your first scan starts the 30 days of validity.
Go City sells several passes in this city. The Essentials Pass is the smallest of them.

For children, the three-entry Explorer Pass costs the same as the Essentials Pass and gives you a wider choice. And if you pair your anchor sight with only two of the cheaper options, such as the harbour cruise, the sampan or the Peak Tram, separate tickets usually cost less.
It is valid for 30 days from your first visit. Buying it and setting it up in the app does not start the clock.
Yes, with Go City up to 90 days after purchase, as long as you have not used it. After the first scan no refund is possible.
Ngong Ping 360 takes you by cable car from Tung Chung up to Ngong Ping on Lantau, home of the Tian Tan Buddha. The Big Bus covers the well-known districts and is a good way to get your bearings on day one.
Choose the Peak Tram with Sky Terrace 428 in the second group. It covers the funicular ride and access to the viewing terrace in the Peak Tower.
The dim sum menu at Serenade and Madame Tussauds. You book both in the Go City App at no extra cost.
From 12. Children aged 3 to 11 get their own, cheaper pass. For them it is worth looking at the Explorer Pass, which costs no more with three entries.
No. Ocean Park is only in the Explorer and the All-Inclusive Pass.
No, public transport in Hong Kong is not part of any of the passes Go City sells. The evening cruise on Victoria Harbour is a harbour tour with drinks, not a ferry service.
First decide between Ngong Ping 360 and the Big Bus. Reserve dim sum or Madame Tussauds straight after buying, and fit in the other sights as you go.
