What is the Stockholm Essentials Pass?
The Stockholm Essentials Pass from Go City gives you access to three of Stockholm's most important sights - at a fixed price, without having to book a comprehensive sightseeing package.
First you choose one of the three main highlights: the world-famous Vasa Museum with the best-preserved 17th century warship, the Royal Palace with its magnificent state rooms or Skansen, the oldest open-air museum in the world. These three attractions are the core of the Stockholm Essentials Pass and are only available in the Essentials Pass and the All-Inclusive Pass. You then combine your choice of anchor with two other attractions from a pool of 12 Stockholm highlights. These include boat tours through the Stockholm archipelago, the Viking Museum, Fotografiska and SkyView Stockholm.
The Stockholm Essentials Pass is valid for 30 days from the first visit and can be canceled free of charge for 90 days until activation. - Public transport (subway, bus, streetcar, ferry) - not included in any Go City Pass.
- Winter Boat Tour - seasonal, back in December. Not bookable in the high season.

How long is the Stockholm Essentials Pass valid for?
The Stockholm Essentials Pass is valid for 30 days from the first visit. The 30 days start with your first visit to an attraction. After purchase, you have 90 days until activation to cancel the Stockholm Essentials Pass free of charge.
Can I cancel the Stockholm Essentials Pass free of charge?
Yes, you can cancel the Stockholm Essentials Pass free of charge within 90 days of the date of purchase - as long as it has not yet been activated. Once you have presented the Stockholm Essentials Pass at the first attraction, it is considered activated and can no longer be refunded.
Do I have to book attractions in advance?
Most of Stockholm Essentials Pass's attractions are accessible without pre-booking - you simply go on site with the Go City app. However, for particularly popular attractions such as the Vasa Museum, we recommend arriving early, as admission can be limited during peak season.
Is the Stockholm Essentials Pass really worth it?
In most cases, yes. Three top attractions cost between SEK 599 and SEK 1055 individually, but with the Stockholm Essentials Pass you always pay SEK 649 - that's a saving of up to SEK 406 per person, depending on your choice. Go City also offers a savings guarantee: if you don't save compared to buying them individually, Go City will refund you the difference.
How do I connect the Stockholm Essentials Pass to the app?
After your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with a confirmation code. Download the Go City app from the App Store or Google Play and enter the code. The Stockholm Essentials Pass will then be synchronized with your account. Synchronization does not yet activate the Stockholm Essentials Pass - the 30 days of validity only start the first time you visit an attraction on site.
Can I buy the Stockholm Essentials Pass for several people?
Yes, you choose the number of adults and children when purchasing. Each person receives their own digital Stockholm Essentials Pass in the app. Children from 6 to 15 years pay SEK 199 instead of SEK 649. Children under 6 years usually do not need a ticket - but the exact rules depend on the attraction.
Is public transportation included?
No. Metro, bus, streetcar and ferries are not included in the Stockholm Essentials Pass. For public transport in Stockholm, we recommend purchasing a separate ticket from SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik) or contactless payment directly when boarding.
Which attractions can I not select in advance?
You do not commit to individual attractions at the time of purchase. The Stockholm Essentials Pass includes three admissions that you can freely allocate to attractions - you only make the decision on site or via the app. One condition applies: one of the three admissions must be used for the Vasa Museum, the Royal Palace or Skansen.
